Teaching

I teach across infectious disease modelling, health emergencies, and applied public health decision-making. My teaching is mostly at module level, with practical work kept focused on reproducible analysis and policy-relevant interpretation.

Current teaching roles at Imperial

  • Global Master of Public Health (Health Protection module): Module co-lead since 2024/2025.
  • MSc Epidemiology (Outbreaks module): Module co-lead from 2025/2026, covering outbreak analysis and response in health emergencies.
  • MSc Epidemiology (Emerging and Neglected Tropical Diseases): Lecturer on planning and preparing outbreak research.

Supervision

  • Nisreen Shehada (PhD, started Jan 2026) — vaccine-preventable disease models to support humanitarian operations.
  • Cosmo Santoni (PhD, started Jan 2025) — deep learning surrogates for infectious disease models.
  • Ishana Atkinson (PhD, UCL) — modelling and mapping vaccine equity, supported by OJ.
  • Primary supervisor for 5 Master's research projects in 2024/2025 (4 MPH, 1 MSc).
  • Additional contributions include dissertation marking, viva examining, and PhD ESA/LSR examining.
